Grounding the Body, Supporting Digestion

Date: Monday, March 9th
Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Location: Dreams West, Seacliff (map)
Workshop fee: $50
This workshop focuses on the relationship between structural alignment, grounding, and digestive health from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective.
Students will be guided through a gentle, flowing Qigong practice designed to develop skillful alignment and an embodied sense of support from the Earth. From a TCM standpoint, proper alignment and grounded movement help nourish Digestive Fire, which plays a key role in physical digestion as well as the processing of thoughts, worry, and anxiety.
Following practice, we will explore:
⭐ How posture and alignment influence digestive function and nervous system regulation
⭐ The role of Digestive Fire in TCM and how it relates to worry and overthinking
⭐ An introduction to the Stomach Meridian and simple self-massage points for daily support
⭐ Foundational TCM principles for caring for the digestive system in everyday life
This workshop is ideal for anyone seeking practical tools to improve digestion, reduce stress, and feel more stable and supported in their body.
